Thermal Insulation

Over the last few years, since global warming has been alerted to the world, thermal insulation has been recognised as being in the forefront, to help increase energy efficiency and save power through more intelligent means.

Pipework Insulation

Pipework insulation is used to prevent heat loss and gain from pipes, to conserve energy and improve effectiveness of thermal systems.

  • reducing or eliminating condensation on cold pipes
  • protection from dangerous pipe temperatures
  • reduction of unwanted heat gain to air-conditioned

Our thermal pipework insulation is capable of working with any diameter pipework you may have.  It is normally between 13mm and 1 metre diameter.  This insulation will need to work in temperatures between -20 upto 300 degrees centigrade, to achieve this we work with various different materials depending on the clients specific needs.

Material finishes for pipework can vary depending on clients requirements.  We have listed below some of our typical finishes used for this type of thermal insulation:

  • Foil
  • Metal
  • Isogenopak
  • P.I.B. Sheeting

Ductwork Insulation

Ductwork insulation is used to conserve energy and improve effectiveness of thermal systems.

  • Ductwork conveying warm air should be insulated to conserve energy.
  • Ductwork conveying chilled air or cold supply air should be insulated to conserve energy and control condensation at the external surface.
  • Boiler exhaust ductwork should be insulated to reduce the external surface temperature to a safe level and prevent condensation of exhaust gases inside the ductwork.

Our thermal ductwork insulation is capable of working with any diameter ductwork you may have.  It is normally between 100mm upto 3 metre diameter.  This insulation will need to work in temperatures between -20 upto 300 degrees centigrade, to achieve this we work with various different materials depending on the clients specific needs.

Material finishes for ductwork can vary depending on clients requirements.  We have listed below some of our typical finishes used for this type of thermal insulation:

  • Foil
  • Metal
  • P.I.B. Sheeting
  • Venture Clad
